Winner of the Kendal Mountain Film Festival 2006 //

This was the first photography competition that I ever entered, and was delighted to come away with both the judges and the "people's choice" awards for Best Action Photo with this evocative black and white shot of Ruby climbing Gargoyle Flake at Bamford Edge. It's a wonderful climb that covers some impressive territory for a route that is graded VS!
