Costa Blanca climbing *without* photos?!
by Nick Smith 14th February 2008It does seem a bit odd to be adding this to my Photography blog, but I've just got back from an excellent week of rock climbing in the Costa Blanca (Spain) - a week in which I never even took my camera out of the bag!
It was just Chris Moor and myself out there, so the opportunities for photos were the odd snap while we were on multi-pitch routes (either climbing or belaying), or some landscape shots. It was actually quite nice to take a short break from the photography, and concentrate 100% on the climbing instead. I'm sure I could have snapped a few decent shots, but the quality wouldn't have been as good as those shots I brought back from my Costa Blanca trip in 2007.
I've got some good trips lined up for later this year, and with more people on the trips there will be better opportunities to take the time to compose really good shots. Watch this space
